What IS the Rodcast?

It's the weekly Podcast put together for you by the lovely Urban Revolution team. What's a podcast? Well I suppose it's like a radio show, but it can be listened wherever and whenever, paused, fastforwarded and rewound as and when you wish!

Rodcast 12 – Thrash Metal Reconciliation

12 weeks on the trot now with the Rodcast and we’re still going strong! Hope you all enjoy the episode. Tom couldn’t make it this week, so we got our favourite imaginary librarian chrisHeather Sagar to take to the mic. As usual we talk a bit about what went on at Communicating Life, which can be watched on the Ice Breaking TV page. Due to a few technical issues, the sound is very very quiet on this weeks Ice Breaking TV broadcast – apologies for that!

PEACH! This weeks’ preach was the second and final instalment on reconciliation by Chris Chapman and can be heard again on the Ice Breaking TV page until next Saturday. We talk a little bit about our thoughts on what was said and try to answer a few questions which I was a little unsure about. If any of you have any questions on the preach, email us or leave a comment on this post and we will be able to respond to it!

We played a song on the Rodcast for the first time in weeks! “Leave the Shores Behind” which leUntitled-1ad to an interesting story about this cheerful chap. Lead “singer” of the band Digicore. This is the fella who kissed me on the forehead and below is a link to the actual event taken on Steve’s phone camera. I put on a brave face but I don’t think I slept for a while! I did catch up with the front man later on and asked him if he does that very often or if I was just special or lucky or something. He just said he was sorry and that he got carried away and that I should feel privileged. And in a bizarre way, I kind of do.

Here's that truly beautiful moment where I became one with the metal.

Thanks for reading (and listening). If you want to email us rather than publicly post and comments or questions then the address is urbanrevolution@rockchurch.org.uk. Feel free to give us any feedback or requests or even shout-outs! See you around!
